  • Write us an email or contact us by phone
Let us know how many prototypes you need and what properties they need to have. (e.g. heat resistance, degree of hardness, resilience or whether it is purely a display model). We would be happy to advise you if you let us know the intended use of your components.
  • Your offer
You will then receive your very personal and non-binding offer. You can then order this from us in writing by email or fax.
  • Order confirmation and invoice
You will then receive an order confirmation from us. We then manufacture your 3D prototypes according to your wishes. Our commercial customers receive their invoice with the delivery of the components.
  • Simply send us your data using the secure upload function in the contact form . The following file formats can be further processed directly: (DXF, STEP, IGS, STP, DWG, STL, etc.)
  • The upload can take a few minutes depending on the file size and internet connection. The upload is possible up to a file size of 10 MB.
  • You can also send us your file by email to mail@protec3d.de (Up to a file size of 20 MB)
  • For larger files, we recommend using a program to compress the files, such as 7-Zip ! Click on: 7-Zip to download the freeware for free!
  • If the compressed data is still too large, please contact us. For this case we have a transfer drive. We will then send you a link with which you can access our transfer drive. Here you can upload data up to 1 GB.

You can create and edit 3D data yourself with a CAD program such as Autocad , Solidworks, Catia or Netfabb. But there are also several free Internet platforms where you can download ready-made 3D models. Such as grabcad or thingiverse .

Sometimes our customers cannot create their 3D data themselves. In this case, we also offer the design and creation of the required 3D data. We can do this if you send us technical drawings, sketches or a component as a sample.

The printing costs are influenced by the geometry, the required quantities, the material volume and the desired technical properties of the component. We would be happy to make you an individual offer. Simply fill out our contact form or contact us by phone on +49(0)8654 1299 114.
